16.06.2019 AAKASHAYA PATRA WEEKLY MARKET OVERVIEW:  Nifty still continues to remain in Trading Range between 12103-11614. But for the past 5 trading sessions, each day's candle body lay in the trading range of 6th May 2019 (12039-11830). Last hour on Friday saw serious sell-off which dragged the indices lower, such that the closing was below the low of the trading range of 6th May i.e. below Nifty 11830. The inability of the Market to sustain at higher levels has resulted in the Market moving lower with the bias turning negative. This has opened the way to test the higher bottom at 11769,followed by critical weekly Support in the form of Bullish Gap between 11591-11426. Technically Speaking :- Sensex opened the week at 39787, made a high of 40066, low of 39363 and closed the week at 39452. Thus it closed the week with a loss of 163 points. 10.06.2019 *AAKASHAYA PATRA SEVEN STAR SMART EDUCATION SERIES PART – 11 :*  VOLUME What is Volume? Volume is simply the number of shares or contracts that trade over a given period of   time, usually a day. The higher the volume, the more active the security. To   determine the movement of the volume (up or down), chartists look at the volume   bars that can usually be found at the bottom of any chart. Volume bars illustrate how   many shares have traded per period and show trends in the same way that prices   do. Why Volume is Important Volume is an important aspect of technical analysis because it is used to confirm   trends and chart patterns. Any price movement up or down with relatively high   volume is seen as a stronger, more relevant move than a similar move with weak   volume. Therefore, if you are looking at a large price movement, you should al...

10.06.2019 *AAKASHAYA PATRA WEEKLY MARKET OVERVIEW:*  Even though it was a truncated week, it was a difficult week to trade as Volatility kept on increasing especially towards the close of the week. Amidst financial crisis in the NBFC sector and weak global markets, all hopes were pinned on the RBI Governor to address the NBFC crisis. But the Governor after giving a 25bps Repo Rate cut, did not address the issue, which led to Nifty falling by around 200 points. Despite the events of past week, Nifty remained in a trading range 12103-11614 with a minor increase on the upside. A downward break will lead the Nifty to test the weekly Bullish Gap (11591-11426), whereas an upward breakout will lead the Nifty towards Bullish pattern target of 12232. Technically Speaking :- Sensex opened the week at 39806, made a high of 40312, low of 39279 and closed the week at 39615. Thus it closed the week with a loss of 99 points. At the same time the Nifty opened the week at 1...

01.02.2019 AAKASHAYA PATRA WEEKLY MARKET OVERVIEW: The Market movement last week can best be described as volatile but the trajectory remained upwards. Since last Friday, all six days can be classified as Rest days, as the trading range for each day falls within the Trading Range of 23rd May (Nifty 12041-11614). On Friday, the Nifty fell after testing the upper end of the Trading Range. Considering weakness in the global markets, an upward breakout to the Trading Range looks very challenging in the near term. But in case if it does, then Nifty will move towards short term target of 12232. A more likely scenario is the one where Nifty remains sluggish to weak. A bearish break of the Trading Range will lead the Nifty to test the weekly Bullish Gap (11591-11426) which will act as strong support. Mid-cap 100 Index (17959) is just 0.5% away from a Bullish breakout. A bullish breakout will trigger a mid-cap rally which will not only provide great relief to market participants...
